BFA Graphic Design - Art K-12 Teaching Certificate
Melissa Epstein graduated from The University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with emphasis in graphic design. She also has her Illinois Art teaching certificate for grades K-12 from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Upon graduation, Melissa worked in advertising as an Art Director at J. Walter Thompson. Her experience led her to the next creative chapter of her life, teaching art in the Chicago public school system. Melissa decided she wanted to apply her creative skills and love for children to the classroom. While teaching and starting her family, Melissa opened I Made This!, her graphic design and custom invitation business, and has grown it for the past 20 years. The next chapter brought her an overnight camp in Wisconsin, where she directed their Arts and Crafts Program for the past three summers.
