Education

Rebecca graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.A. in Communication and a minor in English. She also extensively studied science programs with an emphasis on Biology.

Experience

After graduation, Rebecca became a proposal manager for a Department of Defense contractor, but something was missing. She began volunteering at Central Piedmont Community College where she discovered her passion for education and has continued teaching a variety of courses and grade levels ever since, specializing in math and science and instructing students who prefer an alternative learning environment.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Loves camping and outdoor activities
  • Routinely rescues plants needing extra TLC.
  • Enjoys painting, making pottery and pretty much anything artistic and creative.
