Reanna recently graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received a BA in English and double minors in Latin and Studio Art. Born and raised in Charlotte, Reanna is excited to be back in her hometown and be part of the Fusion Team!
Growing up, Reanna always had a passion for community service and outreach, and while in high school, founded the non-profit Kolkata Missions. This endeavor led her to work at Mother Teresa’s Orphanage in Kolkata, India over the course of 2 summers, and eventually expand the charity throughout the city. While in undergrad, she found a passion for leadership as art editor-in-chief of UNC’s literary magazine Cellar Door, allowing her to further explore her creative interests. Additionally, she has published a senior honors thesis and essays in academic journals, and plans to eventually pursue a doctorate in English. She loves Virginia Woolf and literary modernism, and hopes to explore the connections between post-impressionism and literature further.
Reanna is a nerd at heart, and her major and minors very accurately reflect her passions. She never wants to stop learning, and being part of the Fusion team allows her do just that. She hopes she can ignite a similar passion for learning in her students, and wants to help them find that special thing that makes them burst with excitement!
