Education

Faye shares her passion for STEM topics as she teaches students science and math, and provides academic and social support. She received a Bachelors degree in Science, majoring in Biology from Wingate University with Magna Cum Laude Honors. Currently, she is working on the first year of her Master of Public Health at UNC Chapel Hill.

Experience

During her undergraduate years at Wingate University, she served as one of five tutors for Anatomy and Physiology, where she realized her love for teaching. During her free time, she volunteers at health organizations such as Atrium Health, the American Red Cross, and free healthcare clinics.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Faye enjoys spending her time reading, creating art projects, and spending quality time with family and friends and discovering new food spots around the city.
  • She also really enjoys music, and is currently learning how to play the violin.
