Thomas Reid

Thomas is the son of a librarian and the grandson of a teacher. He was a writing mentor at Wesleyan University and taught ESOL to adult learners in Boston before joining Fusion. During his time at Wesleyan, Thomas had the opportunity to study abroad in Hamburg, Germany, where he also worked on a sheep farm for several months. Thomas enjoys studying the history of social movements in the U.S. and is an active member of Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) Boston, which organizes white people for racial justice and collective liberation. Thomas is finding joy these days in dancing, singing, reading poetry, and working with his wonderful students.
