Experience

Chad has over a decade of one-on-one tutoring experience. Before Fusion, Chad worked as an adjunct professor in Mathematics at a community college.

Before getting into education, Chad worked in a variety of labs: producing mutant E. coli and yeast, growing protein crystals, and analyzing kinetics of enzymes.

As part of his Masters education, Chad investigated models of amine-based CO2 scrubbing (gas sweetening).

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • To get to his sister’s wedding, Chad biked across the country, camping most nights. Chad often goes months without using motorized transportation and rides to work every day. Chad’s ideal afternoon is crocheting while hanging in a hammock near his solar cooker baking bread on an island accessed by inflatable kayak (which was first trailered by bicycle).
