Experience

Anna joined Fusion in 2022. She previously worked in Special Education (Early Childhood, Life Skills, and Teacher for the Visually impaired) and as Director of Science at an alternative high school, Anna also has a background in sales and marketing. graphic design, and international relations. Anna collects books (she lost count after a few thousand), especially signed copies from her author/ illustrator friends like M.T. Anderson, Ekua Holmes, Don Tate, and Jack Gantos, and exploring the stories behind the stories (ask her about the drunk ducks).
She writes in her spare time and has several picture books and a YA novel that she hopes to have published soon. Outside the classroom, Anna enjoys being...
outside. Her happy place is by the water or walking in the woods. She is a landscape photographer and watercolor artist. She loves to gather with friends for dinner, games. or a movie, and is a great cook and baker.
