With a focus on mathematics education, Teresa Jackson possesses a Ph.D. in Teaching and Learning from Georgia State University, an M.Ed. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a B.S. in Mathematics and Physics from the same institution. Her scholarly work involved action research. Her research mainly focused on how the participants' teaching practices were influenced by their participation in action research experiences and what they took away from those experiences. Teresa also holds an Associate degree in Business and a Educational Specialist degree in Technology Management.

Dr. Jackson has over 20 years of teaching experience in public and private schools. She has taught a variety of mathematics courses such as AP Calculus, Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry, etc.
