Education

Miranda Stinson completed her bachelor's degree in Political Science at Georgia State University in 2019, and her master's in Political Science at GSU in 2020. She focused on political psychology and post-Cold War democratic backsliding.

Experience

Miranda was a Graduate Teacher's Assistant in college for the Model United Nations, Arab League, and African Union classes where she had the privilege of taking her students to national and international conferences. Before the pandemic, they traveled to Istanbul, Casa Blanca, Washington D.C., and New York City. Before she graduated, she had the honor of serving as the Director-General of the GSU High School Model UN Conference in 2019, a model simulation of the UN for roughly 1000 participating high school students in the South East.

  • Rescues cats and dogs (roughly 20 and counting)
  • Loves antiques and oddities
  • She once sat down at the wrong table during a charity dinner and ended up placing 3rd in a poker tournament.
