Jessica Bailey is an Atlanta native. She graduated from University of South Carolina with a degree in Visual Communications and a Studio Art minor. After college Jessica started an interior painting company to share the joy of adding color to any space. She has taught arts and crafting classes for over five years to both school age kids and adults. Jessica sees art as a multifaceted tool. A tool that can be used as an outlet, for self-exploration, for connectivity and focus. She strives to incorporate processes that will use both left and right sides of the brain, by bringing math and sometimes a little science into the art room. Students will learn the principles of art, the elements of design, and various art processes; however, they will be challenged to question the meaning of their art. She challenges students to use critical thinking while creatively expressing themselves to find the “compelling why” behind their work.
