Ray Sullivan

Music Teacher/Mentor

Ray is a Berklee College of Music graduate and multi-instrumentalist. In 2008 Ray earned his bachelors in professional music focusing in guitar performance and education. Although his professional teaching career began at the age of 13 when he began giving lessons to other kids in his neighborhood. Since graduation he has worked with thousands of students, all over the country, instructing students on guitar, keyboards, drums, ensembles and early education music classes. In recent years Ray has worked with several schools all throughout New York developing curriculum for electronic music production, music theory classes, drum ensembles, children’s orchestras and more.

Also an accomplished performer, Ray has toured as both a solo musician and with several different groups throughout the country. Recently one of his projects Charlie Red been featured on national television in “The BoonDocks” and in the hit video game “Watchdogs”.

Ray has shared the stage with artists like Daryl Jones (The Rolling Stones) Rudy Bird (Mcoy Tyner/Miles Davis),  George Clinton, The Wailers, The Rebirth Brass Band and Jimmy Cliff and has played private performances for members of the British Royal Family. There is nothing Ray takes more pride in than spreading the joy and love of music through his teaching, and he’s very excited to work for the students of Fusion to expand whatever it is about music that they love.
