Description

Fusion Academy Boulder County understands and lives the importance of being a student and a forever learner first-hand. That’s why it is so important for us to serve as a community resource on all things mental health and education. We are happy to announce our April Speaker Series event on Wednesday, April 12th hosted by our campus and led by an amazing local clinical psychologist, Dr. Lisa Templeton, Ph.D. This is an event open to the entire community – parents, professionals, educators, students. Come for the presentation, and stick around to network, learn more about our school, and snag a tour led by one of our administrators.

At this workshop, you will learn:

-more about what mindfulness means and how it can empower us to look within.

-how to respond rather than react.

-a grounding exercise to stay more present, attentive, and calmer.

-how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact with each other.

-some practical tools to practice and gain empowerment for yourself.
