Jason Foreman is thrilled to join the Fusion Academy family as the Assistant Director of the Boca Raton campus.
Jason was born in Queens, NY but spent most of his childhood abroad in Australia and Thailand. For the past 22 years, Jason was living in Brooklyn but decided to move to South Florida with his wife, two daughters and two dogs. Jason attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia for his undergraduate work where he studied Anthropology and Religion. After graduating and spending some time living in Oregon he enrolled at NYU where he studied Media Ecology and Filmmaking. After graduate school, Jason worked in film production but decided to give education a try and was accepted into the New York City Teaching Fellows program. His first teaching position was as a special education teacher and from there moved into support positions and finally a Principal.
Jason is an experienced educator who has worked with a wide range of students, teachers and administrators. He believes that learning is most effective when educators prioritize relationships, build trust through collaboration and risk taking, and encourage exploration through dialogue and self-reflection.
In his free time, Jason and the family are out and about either at the beach, hiking or playing tennis. When he has time to himself, Jason enjoys practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu because it combines both a physical and mental challenge.
