A native Floridian, Isabella recently moved to Austin and is proud to call it her new home. She is excited to start with Fusion Austin as a programming teacher!
Isabella received her BS in computer science from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York. Here she developed a love for coding, teaching, art, and social justice. She is grateful for the opportunity to share her love for computer science with her students.
Before Fusion, Isabella was a research assistant and teaching assistant for various professors studying subjects ranging from natural language processing to human-computer interactions. Previously being a teaching assistant, she found one-on-one coaching the best platform for students to receive feedback from teachers in order to excel at coding.
In her spare time, you can find Isabella cozily crocheting on her couch, throwing pottery on the wheel, and surfing the web to find obscure arts and crafts to make. She is the proud mother of a very expressive and hungry cat, Jupiter. She also loves to use Adobe Illustrator to make zines and stickers.
