Education

Ian D'Elia graduated magna cum laude from Haverford College with a B.A. in political science and a minor in linguistics. Upon graduation, he received departmental high honors in political science, as well as the Herman M. Somers Prize in Political Science, for the senior thesis that best displays respect for evidence and a humane concern for improving society. Ian was also awarded the Angela Roddey Holder, LL.M. Scholarship for Excellence in Political Science, for the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 academic years

Experience

Previously, at Connect-in-Place, Ian taught a high school summer course in which students were challenged to craft written argument and test theories of nationalism against real-world cases. At Haverford, Ian taught and assisted with courses in political theory and ideology studies.
