Alyssa Black


Alyssa is originally from Southern California. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a BS in Deaf Studies and Educational Interpreting and a minor in Special Education.

She took her first American Sign Language class during her freshman year of high school. She fell in love with the language and loves being able to share her love for American Sign Language with others. She has been teaching ASL and Deaf Studies for 8 years, and has had the privilege of teaching students of all ages.

In her free time, her and her husband are chasing after their 18 month old. She is a firm believer that sunshine makes everything better! She loves to travel, try new restaurants and spend time with her friends and family!
