Catherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in English/Professional Writing from George Mason University. She also received her teaching license from the Shenandoah University Career Switcher program.
Catherine has had a diverse entrepreneurial career that has spanned the corporate, non-profit and education sectors and for the last 12 years has focused on providing educational opportunities for and supporting local youth and their families. She was a member of the George Mason University Career Advisory Board, volunteered as a GRACE Arts “Arts in the Schools" Docent, was awarded the Presidential Service Award for her volunteer work with the National Charity League, and was a founding Board Member of the Virginia Girls Summit.
Fun Facts and Hobbies
- Hiked the Na Pali Coast Trail twice.
- Has run three marathons, including the Disney World marathon.
- Has been a vegetarian since she was 13 years old.
