Robert is an educator, a talented musician and professional craftsman. He achieved a BS degree from Queens College, New York in education and music and taught for several years at the 15th Street School in Manhattan. He moved on to become a custom cabinetmaker and owned his own business for over 18 years, designing, building and installing custom wall units and living room furniture. Over his professional career, Robert has taught Suzuki piano to children and adults, tutored high school students on alternative ways of learning using music and crafts and has mentored aspiring apprentices in woodworking and design.
In his leisure, Robert enjoys organic gardening, bird watching, biking and working on his woodturning lathe.
