French & Spanish Teacher/Mentor
Brittany is a French and Spanish Teacher/Mentor at Fusion Academy Ardmore. Her role is to inspire student interest in the language and culture of French and Spanish speaking countries and guide her students’ academic and personal growth. When not teaching, Brittany offers guidance to students on their homework in the Homework Café. She is a recent graduate of Millersville University’s Honors College with a Dual Bachelor of Arts in French and Spanish. Her passion for learning and teaching has been prevalent throughout her life. While a student at Pennsbury High School, she tutored in French and Honors subjects. She also taught Tae Kwon Do to students of all ages after school at Bucks County Martial Arts. Throughout her college career she maintained various leadership positions in clubs and organizations across campus and served as a tutor and mentor to Honors College students and language majors. Brittany also studied abroad at the University of Caen Basse-Normandy and during her time abroad she traveled throughout Europe. After studying abroad, she interned at the Global Education office at Millersville University and organized trips with international students and events which promoted study abroad and multicultural awareness across campus.
Brittany is excited to bring her love of language and her creativity to her role as French and Spanish Teacher / Mentor at Fusion. Along with her passion for language and travel, Brittany enjoys spending time with family playing Dungeons and Dragons and going to the movies. She met Stan Lee (one of the creators of many Marvel comics and superheroes) and she has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
