Michelle Blokzyl is a Math Teacher at Fusion Academy Huntington Beach. She graduated from Cal State University Fullerton summa cum laude with a B.S. in Health Science and is currently enrolled in a single subject teaching credential at Azusa Pacific University. She is CBEST certified and has passed the first two subsets of the math CSET.

Michelle has had several opportunities to work with students and build their skills and confidence level in math. She was recently a math tutor at Kaplan, has worked with several students as a private math tutor, and volunteered at an afterschool math tutoring program during college. It is her goal to help students understand and appreciate math - it is all around us!

When she has free time, Michelle enjoys reading, hiking, cooking and going to art museums. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family. One little known fact about Michelle is that at one of her friend's wedding receptions, she rapped to a special remix of Vanilla Ice - one of the bride's favorite artists!
