After many years away from the bay area, Heather is very happy to return to Walnut Creek to be a part of the Fusion family.  A lifelong believer in personalized education, Heather attended small schools including Cottey College (AA), the American University of Paris (BA in History and Social Sciences with a concentration in Gender Studies), Chapman University (MA in Psychology), Saybrook University (PhD in Clinical Psychology in progress), and National University (PPS credential in School Psychology in progress).   Heather has spent many years working with children, adolescents, and families in social services as a Wraparound Family Specialist and Facilitator, as well as in education as an Educational Assistant and Substitute Teacher for students diagnosed with emotional disturbances.  When Heather is not working or studying, she enjoys glassblowing, traveling, and cooking amazing gluten-free food
