Offering a unique one-to-one learning model tailored to each student’s individual academic and social needs, Fusion Academy & Learning Center San Francisco has officially opened its doors to welcome its inaugural class.
Located at 535 Pacific Ave., Fusion Academy is a new, alternative college-prep private school for students in grades 6-12. Modeled after the original Fusion Academy & Learning Center in San Diego, which was founded 20 years ago with the understanding that traditional school is not always the best option for every child, the San Francisco campus utilizes a “personalized learning” model to help students through a dynamic, one-to-one method of teaching and mentoring.
Along with its one teacher-one student approach, what separates Fusion Academy from other schools is its flexible scheduling, where students can pick and choose what time they have classroom instruction, and its Homework Café®, which encourages students to do their “homework” on school campus while receiving critical support from an educator. The school’s flexible scheduling enables students to optimize their learning experience, while Homework Café allows them to spend valuable time at home with family and friends instead of with their nose buried in a text book.
A part of American Education Group’s growing network of customized private schools, the Fusion Academy & Learning Center’s San Francisco campus includes a full mixed-media art studio, a state-of-the-art music and recording studio.
