Fusion Announces School Location in Mission Viejo

New School with One-to-One Learning Model Set to Open September 8

Orange County – July 19, 2010 – Poised to welcome its inaugural class of students, Fusion Academy Orange County (now Fusion Academy Mission Viejo) announced today that the school will be located at 23456 Madero in Mission Viejo. The school will open its doors on September 8.   

“Developing a learning environment that challenges and inspires students is critical to academic and social growth,” said Dr. Peter Mikulecky, head of school.  “Our goal is to create an intellectually stimulating and engaging campus environment that has students looking forward to coming to school, rather than looking forward to going home.”

A new, college-prep, alternative private school offering students in grades 6-12 a unique one-to-one learning experience, Fusion Academy Orange County is modeled after Fusion Academy & Learning Center in San Diego. Founded 20 years ago with the understanding that traditional school is not the best option for every child, Fusion Academy & Learning Center utilizes the “Personalized Learning” model to help individual students through a dynamic, one-to-one method of teaching and mentoring.
