Fusion Academy Huntington Beach educates its students on the importance of community awareness by visiting the famed estate of Henry Huntington.
Visiting the Huntington Library, Art Collection, and Botanical Gardens the students immersed themselves in the history of Mr. Henry Huntington, who also is the namesake for the city of Huntington Beach. Having visited The Huntington, Fusion Academy Huntington Beach has begun to plan a slew of community service projects.
Fusion Academy Huntington Beach’s Japanese club learned about the traditional art of Kabuki Theatre.
Kabuki themed club activities were held at Fusion Academy Huntington Beach during the month of February. The students, taught by Japanese teacher Josh Huihui, where exposed to the art form through many different examples of theater performance as well as contrasting other similar forms. The activity culminated with the students making personalized face masks themed in Kabuki design.
