Get started at Fusion Learning Center.

Want to begin a tutoring, enrichment, or Classes for Credit program at Fusion San Mateo? Here are the steps you'll take to sign up:

Step 1: Come meet with us!

Visit us on our campus. We'll give you a tour of our one-to-one classrooms, recording studio, art studio, and Homework Café®. This is a time for you to ask us any lingering questions you have and make sure that Fusion Learning Center is right for your student.

Step 2: Pick your program.

We'll meet with your student and talk about what he or she hopes to achieve at Fusion Learning Center. Does she want to catch up on credits? Does he need help with math? Does he want to become a better photographer? Once we determine your student's goals, we'll determine which program or combination of programs will help your student reach those goals.

Step 3: Customize your program.

We'll work with your student to customize the perfect program. For tutoring, test prep, skill building, and enrichment students, we take into account the students' personal goals, scheduling needs, and learning style to determine the appropriate quantity and frequency of sessions. Of course, our program is flexible, so the student and teacher may later determine that they need more or fewer sessions than originally planned.

For students in our Classes for Credit program, a minimum of 20-30 sessions are required in order to meet state standards and earn transferable school credit. However, we will work with the students to determine how many sessions they want to take per week, which times work best for them, and whether they'd like to do basic, expanded, or honors programs. Additional sessions may be added later if the student needs additional time to master the course material.
