Drop in and complete your homework under teacher supervision.

The Homework Café® is a relaxed, fully-staffed learning environment that provides a solution for students (and families!) who struggle to complete homework at home, or would prefer to have a dedicated teacher available to answer questions. 

How It Works

With comfy couches and cushions, the Homework Café® provides a casual, home-like environment. There are two unique spaces within the Homework Café®: a quiet, reflective space for times when maximum concentration is required; and a larger, slightly noisier area for working on problems together, getting help from the café teacher, or completing less focused work. There are 2-4 computers available for students to use at any time. The Homework Café® also provides a gathering space to socialize or grab a snack. 

Hours and Rates

The Homework Café® is open Monday through Thursday, 7:30am to 9:00pm. Time is available to all Fusion Learning Center students on a drop-in basis, with an hourly charge of $15 per hour (billed monthly to parents). 

The Homework Café® is also available to the general public as a stand-alone program. The initial registration fee to utilize the Homework Café® in this way is the same as the registration fee for any of Fusion’s services. The Homework Café® uses an honor system of attendance in which the student signs in and out on a form located in the Homework Café®. 

The Results

Completing homework in the Homework Café® allows students to get help from a dedicated teacher when needed, and to leave home time for family, other interests, and relaxing.
