Full-Time Program Overview

Our alternative middle and high schools in California and New York provide a customized learning program for every student. Each class is taught one-to-one and no two schedules are the same.

One-to-One, Personalized Learning
Fusion Academy offers the ultimate in personalized learning for students in grades 6-12. All of our classes are taught one-to-one—just one teacher and one student in their own private classroom. Our curriculum meets state standards, but is delivered in a way that takes into account the student's interests and learning style. And with flexible scheduling, students customize their own schedules for the week and the year.
Arts and Music
Every one of our campuses boasts a vibrant arts and music program, supported through a state-of-the-art recording studio and mixed-media art studio. We offer instruction in guitar, bass, drums, piano/keyboard, voice, music theory, composition, and jazz performance, as well as recording arts where our students learn the industry-standard software, Pro Tools.
Therapeutic Support
Going beyond academic support, Fusion Academy partners with outside therapeutic professionals and programs to support students’ emotional health and create a balance between learning and life.
The Anti-Homework Solution
At the end of the day, students (and their parents) can relax in knowing that their studies are done. All students complete their "homework" on-site in our Homework Cafe® before they leave for the day. Questions can be answered on the spot, and there is an end to the daily homework struggle at home.

Curriculum
Each Fusion location offers slightly different classes, but core classes in science, mathematics, history and social studies, visual & performing arts, English, Languages, and special courses are offered. For a complete listing, visit the curriculum page.
